Virgin Hotels names Todd Orlich to North America operations post

Virgin Hotels has appointed Todd Urlich as Vice President, Operations – North America. In his new role, he oversees day-to-day operations and works closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement the strategic plan to drive growth and profitability.

Orlich, who will be based in Miami, brings over 25 years of brand experience and will be responsible for the operational performance of Virgin Chicago Hotels, Virgin Dallas Hotels, Virgin Nashville Hotels, and the newly opened Virgin New Orleans hotels, as well as prospective properties in New York City. and Miami.

Most recently, Ulrich was Managing Director of 1 Hotel Toronto, where he was responsible for the opening of Toronto’s newest luxury hotel, overseeing all aspects of construction, operations and pre-opening training, including the development of cutting-edge sustainability initiatives for the eco-friendly brand. Previously, he was Delano’s regional vice president/regional general manager at SBE including overseeing the sbe hotel group in Miami. Prior to his sbe career, Orlich was General Manager at Montage Laguna Beach and Montage Beverly Hills, and also held leadership positions at Loews and Starwood Hotels.
