Architect Rino Gambardella oversaw the project, which aims to be a “thoughtful reflection of art and craftsmanship in the Campania region”. The resulting interiors and gardens are a ‘Made in Italy’ offering: from ‘Heritage Collection’ pieces by leading Italian furniture brand Molteni & C to custom items from family-run furniture designers, Tosconova and LISAR, and custom works by local architects, artists and artisans. .

Inspired by the building’s 1960s origins, mid-century design details are combined with classic Mediterranean white and blue palette, along with hand-painted geometric tiles, antique furniture, and hand-made pieces by local Amalfitano artisans.

A highlight is the hotel’s private beach. Guests can access it via a cliffside lift, or by walking down a series of hallways and stairs through scented gardens of olive and lemon trees.

Three restaurants, under the supervision of Executive Chef Crecenzo Scotti and located between the hotel’s highest points (90 meters above sea level), will serve classic Mediterranean cuisine to celebrate a wealth of local produce.
