IHG announces the second Hotel Indigo property in Saudi Arabia – Hospitality Net

IHG® Hotels and Resorts Company, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, announced the signing of a management agreement with Dallah Real Estate Company for Indigo Resort Hotel in Durrat Al ArousGrandmother. With this signature, IHG continues to expand its lifestyle portfolio in the country to meet the future demand of new guest segments, and to pursue authentic Arabian experiences through the story of the Indigo Hotel neighborhood. No two hotels can be alike in Hotel Indigo, as each has its own neighborhood story embedded in design, food, and service.

Set to open in early 2026, the Indigo Resort is located in Durrat Al Arous, an entertainment district north of Jeddah, and will be a short drive from the main city. The resort will be part of a mixed-use development comprising of a fledgling residential community, extensive waterfront and artificial lagoons. Located in Durrat Al Arous along the Red Sea coast, Hotel Indigo Resort will also be an ideal destination for guests to enjoy an active waterfront.

IHG and Dallah Real Estate Company will work in collaboration with renowned design studios and research agencies to weave a “neighborhood story” into the hotel’s DNA. The resort’s unique aesthetics and service patterns will immerse guests in the destination’s authenticity, local culture, character and history.

Alongside the boldly designed 271 rooms, the resort will also feature 50 private pool villas, an expansive wellness facility, and locally grown food and beverage concepts that will not only offer a unique perspective on dining in Saudi Arabia – but will also attract interest from foodies and critics alike.

Maintaining its commitment to interacting with the neighborhood, Dallah Real Estate has also partnered with 17Sixty – a marine adventure company that will enable Hotel Indigo guests and Jeddah residents to experience marine flora and fauna like never before, while keeping sustainability in place. IHG currently operates 37 hotels in Saudi Arabia across five brands including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and VOCO. Another 23 hotels are under development, scheduled to open in three to five years.
