As one of the newest and one of the most modern hotels in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the property, managed by Olympia Hotel Management, is located near Harrisonburg Crossing and the campus of James Madison University (JMU), a public research university.
The city is known as the gateway for visitors to the nearby Shenandoah National Park and scenic Skyline Drive Park. Best known for its local restaurants, entertainment, hiking, and historic battlefields, as well as nearby museums and wineries, Harrisonburg has been named one of “America’s Best College Towns” and “America’s Favorite City” by travel + emptiness.
The area’s first new service hotel in several years, Hyatt Place Harrisonburg features 119 rooms and suites, with top-floor rooms offering stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Ridge Room Rooftop Tavern is the hotel’s premier dining venue, serving regionally sourced food and drinks, with 80 seats in the indoor/outdoor space offering panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Run by Chef Dan Evans, this is a wonderful space that promises to become a dynamic gathering space for the city.
Guests are served a complimentary breakfast at the breakfast bar, while The Placery in the lobby serves a curated menu of comfort foods for lunch and dinner and offers full bar service. There’s 1,977 square feet of meeting space, free WIFI, a 24/7 fitness center, indoor heated pool, ample parking, and electric vehicle charging stations.
Developed by Harman Realty, Inc. in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and the hotel’s general contractor was Harman Construction, Inc.
