Celebrating his 75th birthdayNS On its anniversary, the InterContinental brand unveiled this new initiative for full-size bathroom amenities as part of IHG’s commitment to reducing plastic waste by removing bathroom miniatures across its properties.
This launch combines a response to the growing demand from travelers looking for a unique stay while traveling with greater awareness, with meaningful luxury products of the highest quality such as Byredo. Byredo facilities will be rolled out across InterContinental Hotels globally from now on. Including favorites within the Byredo fragrance line, such as Bal d’Afrique, a warm and romantic vetiver mixed with orange blossom, African marigold and Moroccan cedarwood, and Blanche, a pure and fresh scent with hints of delicate rose and sandalwood, Byredo’s ritual will become The most prominent of the Intercontinental pools during the next year.
Among the first hotels to carry the range are the recently opened InterContinental Barcelona, InterContinental Fujairah Resort, InterContinental Shanghai Hongqiao NECC and InterContinental Sydney in their newly renovated rooms.
IHG is the first global hotel company to commit all of its brands to eliminating bathroom miniatures in favor of full-size amenities. This initiative is the first major milestone under IHG’s goal to eliminate single-use items during a guest stay by 2030.
